Velivolo (velivolotravel.com) is a travel resource focused on family and child air travel, helping parents navigate airline policies and the practical realities of flying with infants and young children. The company operates in a category where users search with very specific, detail-driven intent, comparing rules across airlines and looking for trustworthy, accurate guidance before they book and fly.

The Challenge

When the engagement began on 15 March 2026, Velivolo was effectively invisible in organic search, generating 0 organic clicks per day, week, and month. There was no content system in place to capture search demand at scale, and the existing Webflow build limited the flexibility needed to structure pages for the way modern search and AI engines surface and cite content.

Family air travel is a category where demand fragments across thousands of specific questions: airline-by-airline child policies, baggage and stroller rules, and the practicalities of flying with a baby. Without a system to capture that long-tail demand and a technical foundation built to earn citations, Velivolo had no realistic path to compete for visibility against larger, established travel sites.

The Solution

RapidDev built Velivolo's organic growth engine from the ground up, pairing high-quality, data-rich content with a technical rebuild designed for both Google and AI search.

The team identified the high-intent questions Velivolo's audience was actually searching for and built comprehensive resource hubs around them. The Airline Child Policy hub was built on real, verified data sourced from multiple airlines, depth and accuracy that earned strong organic rankings and, critically, a high volume of citations across AI search engines. AI search became the single biggest driver of growth across the engagement.

The same data-driven model was applied to the Flying with a Baby guides. Pairing long-tail keyword coverage with exceptionally high-quality data produced consistent results, mirroring the success of the child policy hub and reinforcing the same core formula: long-tail intent plus superior data equals great results.

In parallel, RapidDev rebuilt the website completely in custom code, replacing the previous Webflow setup. This gave the team far greater flexibility over page structure and produced a foundation that Google and AI search engines respond to more favorably, an advantage that compounded as content scaled.

The Result

The impact compounded month over month across an 11-week window:

Organic clicks grew from 0 to 83 per day, 374 per week, and 1,204 per month, building search into a primary source of new traffic entirely from zero. Over the period, the site recorded 2.05K total clicks and 343K total impressions, with an average position of 7.1.

AI search was the dominant growth driver, with the data-rich Airline Child Policy and Flying with a Baby hubs earning citations across AI search engines on top of their organic rankings, proof that genuinely superior data wins on the surfaces that increasingly shape discovery.

The performance trend accelerated rather than plateaued, with clicks and impressions climbing steadily through April and sharply through late May, the strongest stretch of the engagement.

Built a repeatable, custom-coded content and technical foundation that keeps compounding over time, giving Velivolo a durable presence across high-intent family travel searches in both traditional and AI search.
