Rapid Developers is Officially Founded
After CozyKin's acquisition, Matt and co-founder Anna Gafurova began working together as a freelancing duo, building on their previous venture. By November 2020, they received a call about a potential networking opportunity. While the prospective client was set on another agency, Matt had other plans.
With their expertise and agility, Matt insisted they could build something better, faster, and more cost-effective than any other agency. The client was convinced! Within three months, the duo developed the app Kagent, far surpassing the client's expectations—and it remains operational to this day. 🙌
Come February 2021, after great success, the dynamic duo had grown into a humble team of four. RapidDev was officially founded, and our sights were set on growth!
The First Sprint, from Four to Eight
Three months after our official founding, we landed a game-changing contract, Grantify. This opportunity was paramount, ‘sink-or-swim,’ and we were keen!
Just four years after development, Grantify, once bootstrapped, raised $25 million (and we’re still partners to this day)! Following the success of this major project, we held our first annual corporate trip to Europe that August. Having been fully remote since CozyKin, the trip was a truly special occasion, marked by team-building and sightseeing. 🫶
By the end of the year, our humble team of four had grown to a mighty eight. 2021 was the first sprint; we came out of the gates at full speed, winning the race. Come 2022, a new race awaited: a marathon of growth requiring great endurance. 👟
The Marathon Begins, Ascend to Gold Tier
2022 was the year of the ascent! The goal was simple: grow quickly. The path was threefold: acquire more clients and expand our plugin and template portfolios. To achieve this, we needed a larger team to implement more sophisticated systems and operations, and to that, we set off.
Starting the year with a team of ten, we grew to a remarkable thirty by mid-year. The multitude of projects, larger clients, and their varying complexities required more robust systems, operations, and management. At the same time, we expanded our plugin portfolio to 150 Bubble plugins, marking the beginning of our prominence in the Bubble Marketplace.
With our newfound presence, we began to attract more prominent clients, celebrating our successes with now semiannual corporate trips, visiting Egypt in February and Istanbul in November.
The ascent was set, but the marathon continued. 2023 would be the year we'd 'close in' on Gold Tier. 🏃

With a larger team in place, by 2023, we were right on track to becoming one of Bubble's top agencies.
By July, after great effort, we’d capture 70% of Bubble's template marketplace—a tremendous accomplishment for a former freelancing duo, allowing our team of thirty to grow to a hearty sixty by the end of the year. We now had an exhaustive presence within the Bubble Marketplace, positioning us among the top Bubble agencies.

We commemorated our success during our semi-annual corporate trips, visiting Baku, Azerbaijan, in May, and Tbilisi, Georgia, in November.
As the year came to a close, the finish line was near. 2024 would be the year we'd 'win gold!'
New pastures & uncharted frontiers
Riding on the heights of another incredible year, by the start of 2024, we finally achieved Gold Tier! 🥇
Rapid Dev is now a Bubble Gold Partner and one of the largest and most dominant agencies in the Bubble space.
The marathon was complete! Yet another race awaited—the ultramarathon. It was time to look beyond Bubble, set our sights on new pastures, and expand into uncharted frontiers: FlutterFlow, Loveable, etc.
We specialize in the full spectrum of digital product creation, servicing web, mobile, internal business tools, automation solutions, and AI-powered app development. These new services paved the way for our continued growth, from sixty employees to over 100 by the end of the year.
As tradition, we celebrated our success with our semi-annual corporate trips, visiting Antalya, Turkey, in May, and, coming full circle, revisiting Egypt in November.
