In your project’s source folder, create a new file called hubspotIntegration.ts
. This file will contain the TypeScript code needed to load the HubSpot Marketing Hub tracking script.
export function loadHubSpotTracking(hubspotId: string): void {
// Check if the tracking script has already been added to avoid duplicates
if (document.getElementById('hs-analytics-script')) {
return;
}
// Create the script element
const script = document.createElement('script');
script.id = 'hs-analytics-script';
script.type = 'text/javascript';
script.async = true;
// Replace "XXXXXXXX" with your HubSpot Portal ID dynamically if needed
// Alternatively, set hubspotId directly into the source URL or add query parameters if required by HubSpot.
script.src = //js.hs-analytics.net/analytics/300000/${hubspotId}.js;
// Insert the script into the document head
document.head.appendChild(script);
}
Open your main TypeScript file (for example, index.ts
or the main module of your v0 project). Add an import statement to include the HubSpot integration function and then call this function during your application’s initialization phase.
import { loadHubSpotTracking } from './hubspotIntegration';
// Replace 'YOURHUBSPOTPORTAL_ID' with your actual HubSpot Portal ID
const HUBSPOTPORTALID = 'YOURHUBSPOTPORTAL_ID';
// Call the function on app initialization. You can place this in your main bootstrap function.
loadHubSpotTracking(HUBSPOTPORTALID);
Because your v0 environment does not include a terminal for installing packages, any dependencies must be added directly via code. If you ever need a third-party HubSpot or HTTP library, you can create a self-loading script reference. However, in this integration no extra dependencies are required as it only injects the HubSpot script. Ensure that your project configuration loads external scripts if necessary.
After adding the code, your project should automatically load the HubSpot tracking script as soon as the application initializes. You can verify this by opening your browser’s developer tools and checking that the script with ID hs-analytics-script
has been added to the document head.
Save all file changes. When you reload your application in the browser, the HubSpot Marketing Hub tracking script should load and start collecting analytics data as configured in your HubSpot account.
